The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) stands ready to offer indispensable support and training to childcare providers as they navigate the complexities of running and managing their businesses. Through personalized one-on-one guidance, the SBDC will assist childcare providers in enhancing their operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and, ultimately, fostering high-quality care while growing their business.
WESST is driven by its belief that expanding entrepreneurship is the most effective way to yield the greatest economic impact. Our mission is to be a home to New Mexicans starting or growing a small business, providing a support system of consulting, training, incubation, and lending to help women, people of color, and low-wealth individuals strengthen and grow their businesses. For this project, WESST will offer tailored support to home childcare providers in Las Cruces, helping them properly establish their businesses for success. Through workshops and one-on-one consulting, we will educate them on how to successfully manage a profitable business. We aim to help these providers run their businesses well and make a sustainable profit, while delivering high-quality care.
